The work-outs

No one became a great presenter because they read a book on the topic, or attended a course for a couple of days, one nice summer. They became presenters because they practiced the skills that made them one, regularly, in different contexts and with different approaches.

I coach the skills that you need, when you need them, so they serve you at the right time.

Think of me as your personal coach at the skills gym: I provide personal, focused and regular work-outs. Online, so you feel comfortable and safe, and also so you don’t have an excuse to skip a ‘class’ because of traffic.

  1. You need to do a presentation, I work with you to see what skills you need to improve and then practice with you until you’ve mastered them. I give you the resources, the feedback, the info, all personal for your own needs. We meet online and we practice until you’re comfortable with what you’ve learned. Then you move on.
  2. You need to speak at an event, I’m here to help you prepare. Safe, one-on-one coaching on the specific skills you need, until you’ve mastered them. And then you move on.
  3. You want to discover what skills you can develop further so you get unstuck. I work with you to dig deep, take those skills to the surface, and work them out until you’re ready to move on.

We don’t have the time, or energy, to spend on programs that are maybe too general or that don’t give us the results we need. I know.

The future of learning is not training, it’s focused practice.

It’s taking the skills we have and creating a good habit to our benefit. It’s taking our personal skills and not being afraid to use them, because we know exactly what to do with them. It’s dancing our own dance because now we’re comfortable with the steps. It’s doing our own thing because now we know what that thing is. It’s not going to be easy, but it will surely be rewarding!

My favorite quote on learning is ‘learning is movement from moment to moment’. So let’s move it and work it out!
